If you're driving to Key West Cemetery from anywhere in the Florida Keys, head toward U.S. Route 1 (Overseas Highway). Continue on U.S. 1 until you reach Key West. Once you enter Key West, follow signs for 'Old Town.' As you approach the downtown area, turn onto Whitehead Street. From Whitehead Street, turn left onto Passover Lane, and you will find Key West Cemetery located at 701 Passover Ln, Key West, FL 33040. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, the Lower Keys Shuttle offers service throughout the Florida Keys. You can catch the shuttle from various points. Ensure you check the schedule in advance as it may not run frequently. Once you arrive in Key West, disembark at a stop closest to Old Town. From there, it's approximately a 15-minute walk to the cemetery. Head south on Whitehead Street until you reach Passover Lane, then turn left to find the cemetery.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, Key West is bike-friendly with many designated bike lanes. Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Key West. Navigate towards the cemetery by heading south on Whitehead Street and then turning left onto Passover Lane. The distance from central Key West to the cemetery is about 1 mile, making it a pleasant ride.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in Old Town Key West, walking to the cemetery is a scenic option. From Duval Street, head south on Whitehead Street. Continue until you reach Passover Lane, then turn left. The cemetery will be on your right at 701 Passover Ln. The walk is approximately 0.5 miles and allows you to enjoy the charming streets of Key West.
