Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head to Key West, Florida. You can use US-1 South, which is the main highway through the Florida Keys. Once you arrive in Key West, continue on Southard Street until you reach the intersection with Whitehead Street. Turn left onto Whitehead Street, then take the first right onto South Street. The Cable Hut will be located at 398 South St, on the right side. Look for the historical landmark sign to help identify the location.

  To reach The Cable Hut via public transportation, you can take the Key West Public Transit bus. Board the bus at any of the designated stops along the route. Make sure to select a bus that is heading towards downtown Key West. Once you get off at the nearest stop to South Street, which is on Whitehead Street, walk south along Whitehead Street until you reach South Street. Turn right onto South Street, and you will find The Cable Hut at 398 South St. Note that the bus fare is around $2.00 per ride.

• Bicycle

  For those interested in cycling, renting a bicycle is a popular option in Key West. You can rent a bike from various shops around the city. From the center of Key West, cycle south on Whitehead Street until you reach South Street. Turn right onto South Street, and The Cable Hut will be on your right at 398 South St. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.

  If you are staying nearby, walking to The Cable Hut is a pleasant option. From the center of Key West, head south towards Whitehead Street. Walk down Whitehead Street until you reach South Street.
