Public Bus
From your current location in Fort Lauderdale, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take the Broward County Transit Bus Route 1, which travels northbound towards Miami. Make sure to check the schedule for the specific times it operates. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Aventura Mall'. From there, transfer to Bus Route 119 towards Bal Harbour. After a short ride, get off at the 'Bal Harbour Beach' stop. Walk a few minutes east towards the beach.
Water Taxi
If you're near the Fort Lauderdale waterfront, you can take the Water Taxi. Look for the nearest Water Taxi dock. Purchase a ticket and board the boat heading towards the Las Olas area. Get off at the 'Las Olas' stop and transfer to a bus or rideshare service to get to Bal Harbour Beach. Alternatively, enjoy the scenic views from the Water Taxi as it takes you along the canals to a nearby stop, then continue with a short rideshare or bus ride.
Rideshare Service
Open your rideshare app (like Uber or Lyft) and enter 'Bal Harbour Beach, Florida 33154' as your destination. The app will provide you with the nearest pick-up point based on your location. Simply follow the app’s directions to get to the pick-up location, and wait for your driver. The ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.
Bicycle Rental
Consider renting a bicycle from a local rental shop in Fort Lauderdale. Once you have your bike, head north on A1A, which will take you along the coast. Follow the bike path and enjoy the scenic ride. Continue until you reach Bal Harbour Beach. This route allows you to take in the beautiful ocean views and fresh air along the way.
