Public Bus
To get to Miami Beach from Fort Lauderdale using public transportation, start by heading to the Broward Central Terminal located at 101 NE 1st Ave, Fort Lauderdale. You can take the Broward County Transit bus route 1 towards Hallandale Beach. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the stop at A1A and 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale. From there, transfer to the Miami-Dade Transit bus route S (South Beach Local) at the same stop. This bus will take you directly to Miami Beach. The entire journey may take around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the waiting times between transfers.
