Public Bus
To reach Manatee Park from downtown Fort Myers, start by locating the nearest bus stop on the route of LeeTran's Route 50, which services downtown areas. Board the bus heading eastbound and enjoy the scenic ride. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and get off at the stop for Palm Beach Boulevard (near the intersection with Ortiz Avenue). From there, you will have a short walk of about 10 minutes to reach Manatee Park. Head east on Palm Beach Blvd, and look for the entrance to the park on your left.
Bicycle rental
If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in downtown Fort Myers. After renting your bike, head east on First Street until you reach the intersection with Palm Beach Boulevard. Turn left onto Palm Beach Boulevard and continue riding straight for about 3 miles. Manatee Park will be on your right. Make sure to follow the bike lanes and watch for traffic signs along the way.
Walking
If you are close enough to Manatee Park, and enjoy walking, you can head to the park from nearby neighborhoods. Make sure to have a map or a smartphone with GPS to guide you. Simply walk towards Palm Beach Boulevard, and head east until you reach 10901 Palm Beach Blvd. It is about a 1.5-mile walk from the nearest major intersection, which will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
