    From downtown Fort Myers, head to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the LeeTran Route 30 towards Punta Gorda. The bus will take approximately 45 minutes to reach Punta Gorda. Once you arrive at the Punta Gorda Transit Station, get off the bus and walk east on Marion Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach Ponce de Leon Parkway. Turn left on Ponce de Leon Parkway, and you will see the Peace River Wildlife Center on your right after about 0.3 miles.

  • Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Fort Myers. Start by heading toward the Caloosahatchee River and take the scenic route along the riverfront to Route 41. Follow Route 41 south for about 20 miles, enjoying the view. Once you reach the intersection with Ponce de Leon Parkway, make a right turn. The Peace River Wildlife Center will be on your left after about 1 mile.

    If you are near the Punta Gorda area, you can walk to the Peace River Wildlife Center. From the downtown Punta Gorda area, head east on Taylor Street until you reach Marion Avenue. Turn left on Marion Avenue and continue straight for about 0.7 miles. When you reach the intersection with Ponce de Leon Parkway, turn right, and you will find the Peace River Wildlife Center about 0.3 miles down the road on your right.
