Getting There

  • Public Bus

    Start at the nearest bus stop to your location in Fort Myers. Take LeeTran Bus Route 30 (North Fort Myers) towards North Fort Myers. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and get off at the stop closest to N Tamiami Trail and Prairie Pines Preserve. From there, walk north along N Tamiami Trail for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Prairie Pines Preserve at 18400 N Tamiami Trl.

  • Bicycle

    If you have a bicycle, you can start from downtown Fort Myers. Head north on McGregor Blvd and continue until you reach N Tamiami Trail (US-41). Turn right onto N Tamiami Trail and cycle for approximately 5 miles. Prairie Pines Preserve will be on your left at 18400 N Tamiami Trl. There are bike racks available at the entrance.

    If you are in a nearby neighborhood, simply walk towards N Tamiami Trail (US-41). Once you reach the trail, head north for about 0.5 miles. Look for the entrance to Prairie Pines Preserve at 18400 N Tamiami Trl on your left. Make sure to stay on the sidewalks for safety.
