Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start your journey at the Fort Pierce Transit bus terminal located at 100 S U.S. Hwy 1. Board the number 1 bus heading south towards the South Beach area. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of S Ocean Dr and Seaway Dr. Disembark at this stop.

  • Walking

    From the bus stop at S Ocean Dr and Seaway Dr, walk south along S Ocean Dr. You will walk past the beach and the beautiful waterfront views. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10-15 minutes) until you reach Bear Point Sanctuary, which is located at 2601 S Ocean Dr. The sanctuary entrance will be on your left side.
