To reach the FAU Harbor Branch Ocean Discovery Visitors Center using public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop in downtown Fort Pierce. Board the Route 14 bus heading northbound. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes. Look for the stop at US-1 and Harbor Branch Road. Once you disembark, walk south on US-1 for about 0.5 miles until you see the entrance to the Visitors Center on your left.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Fort Pierce. Head north on Indian River Drive until you reach the intersection with US-1. Turn left onto US-1 and ride for approximately 2 miles. The FAU Harbor Branch Ocean Discovery Visitors Center will be on your right. Make sure to use bike lanes where available for safety.

Walking
If you are within a couple of miles from the FAU Harbor Branch Ocean Discovery Visitors Center, walking is a great option. Start from the nearest landmark, such as the Fort Pierce Inlet State Park. Head north on Atlantic Avenue, then turn left onto US-1. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles. The Visitors Center will be on your left at 5600 US-1. Be cautious of traffic and use sidewalks where available.
