Getting There

Public Bus
To reach the New World Center at 500 17th St, Miami Beach, take the Broward County Transit bus route 1 from Fort Lauderdale. Board the bus at any of the stops along the route heading south towards Miami. You will need to transfer to the Miami-Dade Transit bus at the Golden Glades Interchange. From there, take the Route 119 bus towards Collins Ave & 17th St. Get off at the 17th St & Collins Ave stop. Walk two blocks west on 17th Street until you reach the New World Center.

Water Taxi
You can take a Water Taxi from Fort Lauderdale to Miami Beach. Find a Water Taxi stop closest to you in Fort Lauderdale, such as the Las Olas Riverfront stop. Board the taxi and enjoy a scenic ride to Miami Beach. Disembark at the South Beach stop and walk towards Collins Ave. Head north on Collins Ave and turn left onto 17th St. Continue walking until you reach the New World Center.

Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Fort Lauderdale. Head south towards Miami Beach by following the A1A scenic route along the coastline. Once you reach 17th Street in Miami Beach, turn left and cycle until you reach the New World Center. It’s approximately a 30-40 minute ride depending on your pace.

If you are staying in South Beach, the New World Center is within walking distance. From any point in South Beach, head towards Collins Ave. Walk north on Collins Ave until you reach 17th St, then turn left. Continue walking west on 17th St for about 5 minutes, and you will see the New World Center on your right.
