From Homestead, walk to the nearest bus stop at SW 8th St & SW 1st Ave. Catch the Miami-Dade Transit Bus 31 heading north. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the bus stop at Collins Ave & 10th St in Miami Beach. From there, walk east toward Ocean Drive. The Art Deco Welcome Center will be on your left at 1001 Ocean Dr.
Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Homestead. Start your ride heading north on Krome Ave, then turn east on SW 168th St. Continue until you reach the scenic route along the coast. Follow the bike paths leading to Miami Beach. Once you reach Ocean Drive, the Art Deco Welcome Center will be located at 1001 Ocean Dr.
Ride-Sharing Service
Open your preferred ride-sharing app (like Uber or Lyft) and request a ride to 1001 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139. The driver will pick you up from your location in Homestead and take you directly to the Art Deco Welcome Center. The trip should take about 40-50 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and would like to walk, start from downtown Homestead and head north on Krome Ave. This will be a long walk (approximately 30 miles) so be prepared with water and snacks. Follow Krome Ave until you reach the coast, then make your way to Ocean Drive. The Art Deco Welcome Center at 1001 Ocean Dr will be on your left. Note: This option is only recommended for very experienced walkers.
