    To reach Everglades National Park from central Homestead, start by walking to the nearest bus stop located at East Mowry Drive and South Krome Avenue. From there, board the Miami-Dade Transit Bus Route 38, heading towards Florida City. The bus will take you south along Krome Avenue. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the Florida City Transit Center. Once you arrive at the transit center, transfer to the Everglades Shuttle Service, which operates during the day to take visitors directly into the park. The shuttle will drop you off at the entrance of Everglades National Park.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Homestead. Begin your ride by heading south on South Krome Avenue. Follow the bike paths along Krome Avenue for approximately 12 miles, which leads directly to the entrance of Everglades National Park. Make sure to follow all traffic signals and stay on designated bike lanes where available. Bring plenty of water and snacks for the journey!
