Public Bus
If you are in Homestead, you can take the Miami-Dade Transit Bus Route 38 from the Homestead Bus Terminal. Board the bus heading towards Florida City. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop near the entrance of Everglades National Park. From there, follow the signs to the Royal Palm Visitor Center, which is about a 10-minute walk down the road.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from any local rental shop in Homestead. Start your ride heading north on Krome Avenue (SW 177th Ave). After about 3 miles, turn right onto SW 8th Street (US-41). Continue for another mile, and you'll see signs for the Royal Palm Visitor Center. It's a scenic ride, so enjoy the views along the way!
Walking
If you're up for a long walk, you can start from downtown Homestead. Head north on N Krome Avenue for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with SW 8th Street. Turn right onto SW 8th Street and continue walking for another mile until you see the entrance to Everglades National Park. The Royal Palm Visitor Center is located just inside the entrance, about a 10-minute walk from the park entrance.
