Public Bus
From Homestead, walk to the nearest bus stop on US-1 (South Dixie Highway). Take the Miami-Dade Transit Bus Route 38 towards the Miami Central Station. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at SW 27th Ave & Coral Way. From there, transfer to Bus Route 24 towards Coconut Grove. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens stop. The museum will be right in front of you.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Homestead. Head north on US-1 (South Dixie Highway) towards Miami. Continue for about 20 miles on the bike lane. Once you reach Coral Way, turn left. After about a mile, look for signs directing you to Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. It’s a pleasant ride, and you will enjoy the views along the way.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and up for a long walk, start from the central area of Homestead and head north on Krome Avenue. Walk for about 8 miles until you reach US-1 (South Dixie Highway). Turn east (right) and continue walking for another 5 miles. Once you reach Coral Way, turn left and walk for about a mile. You will see the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens ahead of you.
