Public Bus
From the center of Homestead, walk to the nearest bus stop on S Krome Ave. Catch the Miami-Dade Transit Bus Route 38 towards Florida City. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at SW 344th St & SW 192nd Ave. From here, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile northeast along SW 192nd Ave until you reach Everglades Alligator Farm at 40351 SW 192nd Ave. This should take about 20-25 minutes on foot.
Bicycle Rental
If you're comfortable biking, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Homestead. Head east on E Mowry Dr, then south on N Krome Ave until you reach SW 344th St. From there, go east until you reach SW 192nd Ave, then turn left (north) and follow it directly to Everglades Alligator Farm. This route is approximately 5 miles and should take about 25-30 minutes depending on your biking speed.
