Getting There

  • Car

    From Honeymoon Island State Park, exit the park and head south on Honeymoon Island Causeway towards the mainland. Continue on the causeway, which will lead you directly to the intersection with Curlew Road. Turn left onto Curlew Road (FL-586) and proceed for about 2 miles until you reach the traffic light at the intersection with Alt 19. Turn right onto Alt 19 and continue for approximately 3 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Caladesi Island State Park. You will need to turn left onto Causeway Boulevard and follow it until you reach the park entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus route #61 from Honeymoon Island to the nearest stop for Caladesi Island State Park. The closest stop is located on Alt 19. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to the park entrance along Causeway Boulevard.
