If you are starting from downtown Jacksonville, take the JTA bus route 10 (Southside) from the Rosa Parks Transit Station. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Atlantic Blvd and Fort Caroline Rd. From there, it is about a 20-minute walk to the Visitor Center at Fort Caroline. Head east on Atlantic Blvd, then turn right onto Fort Caroline Rd. Follow the road until you reach the Visitor Center, which is located at 12751 Fort Caroline Rd.

For those who prefer to cycle, start at the Jacksonville Landing and head east on the Riverwalk towards the Hart Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs for Atlantic Blvd. Once on Atlantic Blvd, continue until you reach Fort Caroline Rd. Turn left and follow this road to the Visitor Center. The ride is approximately 10 miles and offers scenic views of the St. Johns River.
