From there, head south on Pigeon Key Drive until you reach the intersection with Overseas Highway (US-1). Turn left onto US-1 and continue biking for about 1.5 miles. Watch for the entrance to the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary on your right. The Snake Bight Trail is located within the park area, so follow the signs once you enter.

To walk to Snake Bight Trail, start at the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park entrance on Overseas Highway (US-1). From there, walk south along the highway for approximately 0.7 miles. Be sure to stay on the sidewalk for safety. The entrance to the Snake Bight Trail will be on your left side, marked clearly by signage. The trailhead leads you into a beautiful natural area, perfect for exploring.
Public Bus

If you prefer to take public transportation, catch the 'Keys Shuttle' at any of the designated stops on Overseas Highway. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, follow the signs to Snake Bight Trail which is a short walk from the bus stop.
