Car
If you are traveling by car, start from any location in the Nature Coast area. Head south on US-19 S. Continue on US-19 S until you reach the intersection with FL-589 Toll S. Merge onto FL-589 Toll S. Follow the signs for I-275 S towards Tampa. Once on I-275 S, stay on this highway for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 39 toward West Shore Blvd and merge onto W Shore Blvd. Continue straight for about 1 mile, then turn left onto W Cypress St. Cypress Point Park will be on your right at 5620 W Cypress St, Tampa, FL 33607. There is no entry fee for the park.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can start your journey at any bus stop served by the local transit system. If you are near a bus stop, take the bus heading towards Tampa. You may need to transfer at the Tampa Bay Area Transit Authority (TBARTA) transit center. From there, take the bus route that heads towards Westshore. Ensure you check the current bus schedules and routes on the TBARTA website or a transit app. Get off at the bus stop closest to W Cypress St, then walk approximately 0.5 miles west to reach Cypress Point Park at 5620 W Cypress St, Tampa, FL 33607. Be mindful of the bus fare, which typically costs around $2.00.
