From the intersection of Ashley Drive and Kennedy Boulevard, head north on Ashley Drive towards the river. Orientation is aided by the prominent Rivergate Tower (the 'Beer Can Building') which is visible from most points downtown. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes.

Several HART (Hillsborough Area Regional Transit) bus routes stop near the Riverwalk. From Marion Transit Center, a major bus hub, take any bus heading towards Ashley Drive or Tampa Street. Get off at a stop near Kennedy Boulevard or Curtis Hixon Park. The TECO Line Streetcar also has stops along the Riverwalk, providing free access from Ybor City and the Channel District. A single bus fare is $2.00.
