Car
From any location in Nature Coast, head towards U.S. Highway 19. If you are near Crystal River, take U.S. 19 South. If you are in Homosassa, take S. Suncoast Blvd./U.S. 19 South. Continue on U.S. 19 South until you reach the intersection with FL-44. Turn left onto FL-44 East. Follow FL-44 until it merges with U.S. 41. Continue on U.S. 41 South until you reach the town of Yankeetown. In Yankeetown, turn right onto SE Old Rock Road. Withlacoochee Gulf Preserve will be on your right at 1001 SE Old Rock Rd, Yankeetown, FL 34498.
Public Transportation
Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly to Withlacoochee Gulf Preserve. The closest transit station is in Crystal River. From Crystal River, you can use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach the preserve. If you are coming from further away, you may need to take a Greyhound or local bus to Crystal River and then arrange a rideshare from there. Bicycling
For the adventurous, bicycling can be a scenic way to reach Withlacoochee Gulf Preserve. If you are in Yankeetown, you can bike directly to the preserve along SE Old Rock Road.
