Continue on FL-44 E for about 20 miles, then take a right turn onto FL-471 S. After approximately 4 miles, turn left onto Emeralda Island Rd. The entrance to the Emeralda Marsh Conservation Area will be on your right. Be sure to check the road conditions and traffic updates before you go.

If you are using public transportation, first check for the nearest bus station in Nature Coast. Take a bus that heads towards Leesburg or Tavares. Once you arrive at a stop in Leesburg, you may need to use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach Emeralda Marsh Conservation Area.
