The Serene Linton E. Allen Memorial Fountain: A Tranquil Oasis in Orlando

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Downtown Orlando, head towards E Central Blvd. From anywhere in the downtown area, look for signs pointing towards Lake Eola Park, as the Linton E. Allen Memorial Fountain is located within this park. Walk east on E Washington St until you reach the intersection with E Central Blvd. Turn right onto E Central Blvd and continue walking until you see the entrance to Lake Eola Park on your left. The fountain is located towards the center of the park, easily visible from the walking paths.

• Public Transportation (Lynx Bus)

  You can take the Lynx Bus as a convenient option if you're a bit farther from the fountain. Look for a Lynx bus stop near you and take a bus that heads towards the Lynx Central Station. From Lynx Central Station, transfer to Route 21 (which heads towards Lake Eola). Get off at the stop closest to Lake Eola Park. Once you disembark, walk directly toward E Central Blvd, and you will see the entrance to the park. The fountain is located within the park. Note that a single bus fare costs $2, and you can purchase a ticket at the bus stop or on the bus.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer biking, consider renting a bicycle from one of the nearby bike-share stations in Downtown Orlando. Locate the nearest station (typically found at major intersections or near parks) and rent a bike. Head towards E Central Blvd, and make your way to Lake Eola Park. The bike paths in the area are well-marked, and the park is bike-friendly. After arriving at Lake Eola Park, you can easily park your bike and enjoy the fountain and the surrounding scenery.
