After about 1.5 miles, you will see the entrance to Okaloosa Island. Keep walking straight, and soon you will see Okaloosa Island Pier ahead on your left.
Biking

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Fort Walton Beach. Start from the rental shop and head south on Santa Rosa Boulevard. Continue biking straight for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach Miracle Strip Parkway (US-98). Cross the highway and continue on Santa Rosa Boulevard. After about another mile, you will arrive at Okaloosa Island Pier on your left. There are bike racks available near the pier for parking your bike.
Public Transportation (Bus)

To reach Okaloosa Island Pier using public transportation, find the nearest bus stop for the Okaloosa County Public Transit System. Board the bus that goes towards the beach.
