Car
From anywhere in Sanibel Island, head west on Periwinkle Way toward Tarpon Bay Road. Continue straight onto Tarpon Bay Road until you reach the causeway. Cross over the Sanibel Causeway, and follow the signs for US-41 S. Merge onto US-41 S and continue for about 10 miles. Take the exit for Bonita Beach Road and turn left. Continue on Bonita Beach Road until you reach Barefoot Beach Blvd. Turn right onto Barefoot Beach Blvd, and you will find Barefoot Beach County Preserve at 505 Barefoot Beach Blvd on your left.

If you are using public transportation, you can catch the LeeTran bus (Route 150) from Sanibel Island to the transfer station in Fort Myers.
