Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from anywhere in Santa Fe River, head towards US-441 N. Once you reach the intersection with US-441, turn left onto US-441 N towards High Springs. Continue on US-441 N for approximately 10 miles until you reach High Springs. In High Springs, turn right onto NW 1st Ave. After about 0.5 miles, you will see signs for the River Rise area. Follow the signs for River Rise, which will lead you to the parking area near the spring entrance. There are no entry fees or parking costs.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, start by locating the nearest bus stop in Santa Fe River that services the local transit line. You can take the bus towards High Springs, which may require a transfer depending on your starting location. Once you arrive in High Springs, disembark at the nearest stop to US-441. From there, you can either walk approximately 1 mile towards River Rise or use a rideshare service for convenience. Be sure to check the local transit schedule for bus times, as they may vary.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle in Santa Fe River. Head towards US-441 N and follow the same directions as those driving. The ride is approximately 10 miles, and there are bike lanes along parts of the route. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws. Once you arrive at River Rise, there are designated bike racks for parking. There are no fees for biking to the location.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to River Rise or prefer walking, you can follow the local roads towards High Springs. It may take several hours, so ensure you have comfortable footwear and sufficient hydration. Use a map app on your phone to navigate to NW 1st Ave in High Springs, where signs will lead you to River Rise. This option is best for those who enjoy a long hike and the sights of the surrounding nature.
