If you are driving, begin on US-41 South (Tamiami Trail) from Sarasota Beaches. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Fruitville Road. Turn left onto Fruitville Road and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Then, turn right onto N. Beneva Road, which will lead you directly towards the beach area. Follow the signs for Indian Beach, and after about 2 miles, you will arrive at the beach. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared to pay a parking fee, typically around $2 per hour.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) bus route 3 from any point in Sarasota Beaches. The bus will take you along the route through the area. Disembark at the stop closest to Indian Beach, which is usually at N. Beneva Road. From the bus stop, it is about a 10-minute walk to reach Indian Beach. Make sure to check the SCAT schedule for the latest timings. The bus fare is approximately $1.25, and exact change is required.
