Bus
To get to Bridge Street Pier from downtown Sarasota, start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Catch the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) bus route 99, which heads towards Anna Maria Island. The bus will take you to the transfer point at the Anna Maria Island trolley stop. Once you arrive, transfer to the Anna Maria Island trolley and ride it towards Bradenton Beach. Get off at the stop closest to Laverne Drive, and from there, it's a short walk to Bridge Street Pier located at 1-15 Laverne Dr.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in downtown Sarasota. Head west on Main Street, then follow the signs to the Legacy Trail. Continue on the trail until you reach the junction for Coquina Beach. From Coquina Beach, follow the bike paths that will lead you to Laverne Drive. Bridge Street Pier is just a short ride from there.
Walking
If you are close to the beach area or staying in a nearby hotel, walking to Bridge Street Pier is a lovely option. Start from the beach and walk along the shoreline towards the south. Follow the beach path until you reach Laverne Drive. The pier is located at the end of Laverne Drive, offering a scenic view as you approach your destination.
Trolley
From Sarasota, you can catch the free Sarasota trolley service that runs to various beach destinations. Board the trolley at a designated stop and ride it towards the beaches. Get off at the Bradenton Beach stop, then walk south on Laverne Drive. Follow the signs to Bridge Street Pier, which will be on your right.
