To get to Bridge Street Pier from downtown Sarasota, start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Catch the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) bus route 99, which heads towards Anna Maria Island. The bus will take you to the transfer point at the Anna Maria Island trolley stop. Once you arrive, transfer to the Anna Maria Island trolley and ride it towards Bradenton Beach. Get off at the stop closest to Laverne Drive, and from there, it's a short walk to Bridge Street Pier located at 1-15 Laverne Dr.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in downtown Sarasota. Head west on Main Street, then follow the signs to the Legacy Trail.
