Getting There
Walking
If you are in downtown Sarasota, head west on Main Street towards the bayfront. Continue walking until you reach Gulfstream Avenue and turn left. Follow Gulfstream Avenue until you reach the intersection with Ringling Boulevard. Continue straight, as Gulfstream Avenue becomes Boulevard of the Presidents. Walk past the Selby Gardens on your left until you reach Lido Key. Once you cross the bridge to Lido Key, take a right onto Westway Drive. North Lido Beach will be on your left at the end of the street.
Biking
Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Sarasota. Start your ride heading west on Main Street until you reach the bayfront. Turn left onto Gulfstream Avenue and follow it to Ringling Boulevard. Continue straight as Gulfstream Avenue becomes Boulevard of the Presidents. After passing through the scenic area, cross the bridge onto Lido Key. Once you cross, turn right onto Westway Drive. Follow the road straight to North Lido Beach, which will be on your left.
Public Transportation
From downtown Sarasota, board the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) bus route 99, which operates frequently to Lido Key. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of Ben Franklin Drive and Westway Drive. Disembark and walk north on Westway Drive for about 0.2 miles, and you will arrive at North Lido Beach on your left.
