From downtown Sarasota, head west on Main Street towards Gulfstream Avenue. Turn left onto Gulfstream Avenue and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. You will see a park area. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the John Ringling Causeway. Cross the causeway, which will lead you towards St. Armands Circle. Once you reach St. Armands Circle, walk around the circle until you find the entrance to Harding Circle Historic District at 339 John Ringling Blvd. Look for the prominent signs and the beautiful architecture that signifies the historic district.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from downtown Sarasota and head west on Main Street. Turn left onto Gulfstream Avenue and follow it until you reach the path that leads to the waterfront. Ride along the waterfront pathway until you reach the John Ringling Causeway. Continue riding over the causeway towards St. Armands Circle. Once you arrive at St. Armands Circle, navigate around the circle and head towards 339 John Ringling Blvd, where you will find the Harding Circle Historic District.
Public Transportation
From downtown Sarasota, catch the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) bus line that heads towards St. Armands. You can find the bus stop at the corner of Main Street and Orange Avenue. Board the bus and ride to the St. Armands Circle stop. Once you get off, walk around the circle and head towards the entrance of Harding Circle Historic District located at 339 John Ringling Blvd. Make sure to check the SCAT schedule for the latest times and routes.
