If you are traveling by car, head towards Tampa, Florida. From Interstate 75 (I-75), take exit 265 for I-275 N toward Tampa. Merge onto I-275 N and continue for approximately 18 miles. Take exit 48A toward FL-60 W. Merge onto FL-60 W and keep going for about 5 miles. Turn left onto N Dale Mabry Hwy (FL-597), then after 1 mile, turn right onto W Waters Ave. Continue on Waters Ave for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with N McKinley Dr. Turn left onto N McKinley Dr, and you will find Adventure Island at 10001 McKinley Dr, Tampa, FL 33612. There is a parking fee of approximately $25 per vehicle.

Use the local bus service (such as the Broward County Transit or Miami-Dade Transit) to reach the nearest Greyhound or Megabus station. Take a bus to Tampa, which will take around 4-6 hours depending on traffic. Once in Tampa, you can catch the HART bus service. Take the Route 30 bus from the Tampa Greyhound station towards the University Area Transit Center. Get off at the stop near the intersection of N Dale Mabry Hwy and W Waters Ave. From there, you can either walk about 1.5 miles to Adventure Island or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft for convenience, which may cost around $10-$15.
