To reach Fort Cooper State Park by car, start by entering the nearest major highway. If you are coming from the south, take US-41 North until you reach the intersection with FL-44. Merge onto FL-44 East. Continue on FL-44 for approximately 10 miles, then turn right onto Old Floral City Road. The park entrance will be on your right after about 1 mile. If you're coming from the north, take I-75 South and exit at FL-44. Head west on FL-44 until you reach the intersection with Old Floral City Road and turn left. The park will be on your right.
