If you're traveling by car, start from anywhere in Space Coast and head to Florida Highway 528 (the Beachline Expressway). Merge onto Hwy A1A South towards Melbourne Beach. Continue straight on Hwy A1A for approximately 10 miles until you reach 8385 S Hwy A1A, Melbourne Beach, FL 32951. Look for the Barrier Island Sanctuary signs, which will guide you to the entrance.
Public Transportation

Routes 1 and 3 will take you towards Melbourne Beach. You may need to transfer to the Route 3 bus, which runs south along Hwy A1A. Disembark at the stop closest to 8385 S Hwy A1A. Note that schedules may vary, so check the SCAT website for the latest information.
Bicycle
