If you're driving, start by getting on FL-528 E from your location in Space Coast. Follow FL-528 E for about 20 minutes until you reach the exit for I-95 N. Merge onto I-95 N and continue for about 15 minutes. Take exit 180B for FL-500 W/University Blvd. Continue on University Blvd for approximately 5 minutes. The Joy & Gordon Patterson Botanical Garden will be on your right at 150 W University Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32901. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take the Space Coast Area Transit bus route 21. Board the bus at any nearby stop heading towards Melbourne. You will need to transfer to route 27 at the Melbourne Transfer Center. Once on route 27, get off at the stop closest to 150 W University Blvd. From there, it's a short walk to the botanical garden. If you prefer cycling, you can navigate via local bike lanes. Start from your location in Space Coast and head towards University Blvd. Follow bike paths that connect to University Blvd, which leads directly to the botanical garden. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws for safety.
