Car
If you are traveling by car, start on FL-528 E (the Beachline Expressway). From anywhere in Space Coast, follow signs for Cape Canaveral. Continue on FL-528 E for about 10 miles. Take the exit toward Merritt Island/Cape Canaveral and merge onto FL-3 N. Follow the signs for Cape Canaveral, which will merge into N Atlantic Ave. Continue on N Atlantic Ave until you reach the intersection with Spaceport Way. Turn left onto Spaceport Way. The Sands Space History Center will be on your left, and the Canaveral Lighthouse Tour begins here. There is no parking fee, but be aware that FL-528 may have tolls depending on your starting point.

For those using public transportation, you can take the Space Coast Area Transit bus service. Check the schedule for Route 9, which runs from Cocoa to Cape Canaveral. Get off at the stop closest to the Sands Space History Center. From there, it's about a 5-minute walk. Head south on N Atlantic Ave and then turn left onto Spaceport Way. The Sands Space History Center will be on your left. Be sure to check the bus fare before boarding as it may vary.
