From St. Augustine Beach, head west on A1A South towards St. Augustine. Continue for about 6 miles until you reach the intersection with US-1. Merge left onto US-1 South and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Take the exit for FL-16 East, and follow the signs to the Historic District. Once you reach the Historic District, turn left onto King Street. Continue straight until you reach St. George Street. Turn right on St. George Street, and you will find the Old City Gates at 2 St George St. There is street parking available in the area, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically ranging from $1 to $3 per hour.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the 'Sunshine Bus' from St. Augustine Beach. Board the bus at any of the designated stops along A1A. Make sure to check the latest schedule as it may vary. The bus will take you to the Visitor Information Center, which is located at 10 S Castillo Dr, St. Augustine. From there, it’s a short walk to Old City Gates. Head north on Castillo Drive, cross over to King Street, and then turn left onto St. George Street.
