Walking
From the historic district of St. Augustine, head northwest on St. George Street towards Cathedral Place. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with US-1 (North Ponce de Leon Blvd). Cross the street and turn right onto US-1. After a short walk, you will come to the bus stop at the intersection of US-1 and State Road 16. Here, you can catch the local bus.
Public Bus
Take the 'Route 5' bus from the stop at US-1 and State Road 16 heading towards the St. Augustine Beach area. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop nearest to Fort Mose Historic State Park. The bus ride will take approximately 20-25 minutes. Once you step off the bus, you’ll need to walk a short distance to reach the park entrance.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in St. Augustine. Start at the Visitor Information Center and head southeast towards the coast. Follow the scenic route along the waterfront and then make your way towards Fort Mose Trail. This route is approximately 5 miles and will take around 30-40 minutes of cycling time.

For a more direct option, use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply input 'Fort Mose Historic State Park' into the app, and it will guide you from your current location in St. Augustine directly to the park. This option will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
