If you are starting from the Castillo de San Marcos, exit the fort and head east toward the water along the San Marco Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Menendez. Turn left onto Avenida Menendez and walk north along the waterfront. Enjoy the views of the bay as you approach the historic district. When you reach the intersection with Orange Street, turn right. Continue walking along Orange Street for about 0.3 miles, and you will find the Santo Domingo Redoubt located at 23 Orange St, on your left.

From the Historic District Visitor Center at 10 S Castillo Dr, start walking northeast on Castillo Dr. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Aviles Street, then turn left. Walk along Aviles Street until you reach the intersection with Orange Street. Turn right onto Orange Street and continue walking for about 0.2 miles. The Santo Domingo Redoubt will be on your left at 23 Orange St.
