If you're driving from St. Petersburg Beach, start by getting on 1st St N from your location. Follow 1st St N until it merges into Gulf Blvd. Continue on Gulf Blvd until you reach the traffic light at 75th Ave. Turn left onto 75th Ave and follow it until it ends at the intersection with Park Blvd. Turn right on Park Blvd, which will eventually turn into Manatee Ave. Continue on Manatee Ave, and then take a left onto US-41 N. Follow US-41 N, then take a right onto Fruitville Rd. Continue until you hit the intersection with Tamiami Trail (US-41), then turn left. Continue on Tamiami Trail until you reach the exit for Ken Thompson Pkwy. Follow Ken Thompson Pkwy until you arrive at Ken Thompson Park, located at 1700 Ken Thompson Pkwy, Sarasota, FL 34236.
Public Transportation

To get to Ken Thompson Park from St. Petersburg Beach using public transportation, first, find your nearest bus stop that serves the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) buses. Take the PSTA Bus Route 18 towards Clearwater and transfer to Route 300 at the Clearwater Mall. This route takes you to Sarasota. Once you arrive in Sarasota, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) Route 99. This route will take you directly to Ken Thompson Parkway. Get off at the Ken Thompson Pkwy stop, and you will find Ken Thompson Park just a short walk away at 1700 Ken Thompson Pkwy.
