From downtown Tallahassee, start at the Florida State Capitol building. Head south on Monroe Street for about 1 mile until you reach Gaines Street. Turn left onto Gaines Street and continue for about 2 miles. You will pass by several parks on your left. At the intersection with South Adams Street, turn right and continue for another mile. Then turn left onto Natural Bridge Road, and follow it for approximately 3 miles until you reach the entrance of Natural Bridge Battlefield Historic State Park at 7502 Natural Bridge Rd.

Begin your journey at the nearest bus stop in downtown Tallahassee. Take the StarMetro bus route 2 (Southside) towards South Monroe Street. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Natural Bridge Road (this may take several stops, so consult the bus schedule).
