A Serene Escape at Plant City Community Garden

Getting There

• Bus

  From downtown Tampa, head to the nearest bus stop. Take the HART bus number 46 towards Plant City. The bus will take you east on East Kennedy Boulevard. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Plant City bus terminal. From the terminal, walk about 10 minutes east on East Cherry Street to reach the Plant City Community Garden located at 2001 E Cherry St.

• Train

  From Tampa Union Station, take the Amtrak train heading to Orlando. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Plant City station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head southeast on East Baker Street. Turn right onto South Collins Street, then left onto East Cherry Street. Walk for about 15 minutes to reach the Plant City Community Garden at 2001 E Cherry St.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing stations in Tampa. Start by heading east on the Tampa Riverwalk until you reach the intersection with North 15th Street. Continue on North 15th Street until you reach East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and turn right. Follow this road until it turns into East Cherry Street and then continue to the Plant City Community Garden at 2001 E Cherry St, which will be on your left.

• Walking

  If you are nearby in the Plant City area, simply walk to the Plant City Community Garden. From the Plant City downtown area, head east on East Baker Street, then turn left on South Collins Street. Continue on South Collins Street until you reach East Cherry Street. Turn right and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you arrive at 2001 E Cherry St.
