Getting There

  • Public Bus

    If you are starting from downtown Tampa, you can take the HART bus number 6 from the Marion Transit Center. Board the bus and remain on it for about 15 minutes, until you reach the stop at Channelside Drive. Once you disembark, walk west on Channelside Drive for about 5 minutes. The Florida Aquarium will be on your left at 701 Channelside Dr.

  • Streetcar

    Take the TECO Line Streetcar from the downtown area. Board the streetcar at any of the stops along the route. Ride the streetcar towards the Ybor City direction and get off at the 'Channelside' stop. From there, walk east along Channelside Drive for approximately 5 minutes, and you will arrive at The Florida Aquarium at 701 Channelside Dr.

  • Walking

    If you are located near the Tampa Riverwalk or the Tampa Convention Center, you can walk to The Florida Aquarium. Head east along the Riverwalk towards the Channelside District, enjoying the waterfront views. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach Channelside Drive.
