The only way to reach Île Verte is by taking a ferry from the Vieux Port (Old Port) of La Ciotat. Head to the Quai Général de Gaulle on the Old Port. The Aquilade maritime shuttle provides a 15-minute crossing to the island. A round-trip ticket costs €13 for adults and €8 for children under 10. Tickets can be purchased on the boat (cash, check, or ANCV holiday vouchers accepted). Note that credit cards are not accepted. The shuttle service operates seasonally, typically from April to October, with departures approximately every hour. Check the current schedule as it varies depending on the month. Be sure to arrive 20 minutes before your chosen departure time, as there are no reservations. The boat operators may modify or cancel the schedule without notice due to weather conditions or technical reasons. The first departure of the day is ensured with a minimum of 4 people.
