If you are starting your journey from Colmar, take the D83 road north towards Strasbourg. After approximately 25 km, take the exit towards Selestat/Chatenois (D424). Continue on D424 for about 10 km until you reach Orschwiller. Once in Orschwiller, follow the signs for Château du Haut Koenigsbourg. The castle is located at Château du Haut Koenigsbourg, 67600 Orschwiller. There is parking available near the castle, which may incur a fee of around €6.

From Strasbourg, take a train to Selestat, which takes about 30 minutes. From Selestat, you can catch a local bus (Line 501) towards Orschwiller. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. A round-trip train ticket from Strasbourg to Selestat costs around €10.
