From the Annecy city center, head east towards the Thiou river. Cross one of the bridges towards the old town. Once in the old town, follow signs towards the Château d'Annecy. Côte Perrière begins near the base of the Château. The walk is uphill, but well-paved. Allow approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the upper sections of Côte Perrière from the old town. There are no costs associated with walking this route.

The Sibra bus line has stops near the base of Côte Perrière. From the Annecy train station (Gare d'Annecy), take bus line 2 towards 'Annecy-le-Vieux' and disembark at the 'Paradis' stop, which is the closest stop to Côte Perrière. From the bus stop, walk a short distance towards the old town and follow signs for the Château d'Annecy. The single fare for the bus is approximately €1.50.
