If you are starting from the Annecy Train Station (Gare d'Annecy), exit the station and head southeast on Avenue du 8 Mai 1945. After about 400 meters, turn left onto Rue de la Gare. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Marquisats. Take a right onto Rue des Marquisats and continue for about 600 meters. You will reach the Canal du Thiou.
