    If you are starting from the Annecy train station (Gare d'Annecy), exit the station and head northwest on Rue de la Gare. Continue walking until you reach the Palais de l'Isle, a historic building surrounded by water. From there, follow the Rue de la Confédération, heading towards Geneva.
