Walking
If you are starting from the Annecy train station (Gare d'Annecy), exit the station and head northwest on Rue de la Gare. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue des Maréchaux. Turn left onto Rue des Maréchaux and walk for another 300 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de Genève. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for the Old Town (Vieille Ville) of Annecy ahead. Follow the signs to the Old Town, which is about 1.5 kilometers away. As you walk through the charming streets, you will eventually reach the canals of the Old Town. Continue walking until you reach the Palais de l'Isle, a historic building surrounded by water. From there, follow the Rue de la Confédération, heading towards Geneva.
