Walking
If you're starting from the Annecy train station (Gare d'Annecy), exit the station and head northeast on Avenue de la Gare. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rue de la République. Follow this road for another 500 meters, and you will see the beautiful Canal du Vassé on your left. Continue along the canal until you reach the Pont des Amours (Lovers' Bridge). Cross the bridge and keep walking straight; you will soon see signs directing you to Lac d’Annecy. The lake is just a short stroll from here, approximately 1 kilometer away.
