Walking
From the lower part of Beynac-et-Cazenac village, follow the signs towards Château de Beynac. The walk is uphill and takes approximately 15 minutes. Note that the path is steep and cobbled in places, so it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility or pushchairs. Alternatively, you can drive to the upper parking area closer to the castle entrance. Parking fees apply in the village.

Follow the signs for 'Château de Beynac' to reach the upper part of Beynac-et-Cazenac. Several parking areas are available near the castle, but they can fill up quickly during peak season. Parking fees range from €3 for 2.5 hours to €6 for 8 hours. A night forfait is available for 8€ from 7pm to 10am. From the upper parking, it's a short, mostly level walk (2 minutes) to the castle entrance.
