Driving
From Saint-Ambroix, follow the D904 north for approximately 5km. The Grotte de la Cocalière will be signposted. There is a free parking area available for visitors. Be aware that during peak season, parking may be crowded, so arrive early. From the parking area, it's a short walk to the cave entrance. Parking is free.
Public Transport
While direct public transport to Grotte de la Cocalière is limited, you can take a bus from Alès or Aubenas to a nearby village like Saint-Ambroix. From Saint-Ambroix, you would then need to take a taxi or arrange for a local bus to cover the remaining distance to the caves. A bus from Aubenas to Courry costs about €3. A taxi from Saint-Ambroix to the Grotte de la Cocalière will cost approximately €20-€30.
